For Writer's Month 2022 Day 3: Fashion World

Ulfen adored fashion week despite being a dancer. The whole idea of dating a modeling agent was to get into all of these shows. He held on to the shorter man in his fancy suit. Ulfen looked more like the models in his eccentric bright colors than the stuffy suited people he was sitting among. He had a love and hate relationship with his current partner. He liked him well enough but he was dull in ways that conflicted with Ulfen's loudness.

The dancer sat down among the crowd of people beside the runway. He looked around uncomfortable and tugging at his zebra striped pants. He felt self conscious. Not a usual feeling for the Dane but here, tonight, as he looked around at all the solid colors and subdued people he felt it in ways he hadn't for years. With a sigh, he settled in to focus on the fashion.

Eventually, his mind wandered and he made a game of pretending to know what these other people did from their plain clothing and whispers. For some reason, one of the models caught his attention. It was the zebra striped leather pants she wore and they made him smile. This was his style. Interested in the collection he started watching the line of leather clad models until his eyes fell on one man. It caused Ulfen to gasp. It couldn't be.

He was out of his seat and making his way to the back. In this moment his eccentricity gave him a pass. Tall, thin, and dressed in clothing that most would not walk around in for a million dollars, everyone thought he was one of the models. Especially, with his frantic and hurried pace that matched the bustle of the backstage of a runway show. He was headed straight for a man, almost too short to be a model, pulling off a patchwork leather jacket. It was his voice that took the Dane's breath away.

“Torden?” Ulfen had to force his voice to be loud enough over the chaotic atmosphere.

The model turned to the sound of his name and froze in place when he caught sight of the tall blonde. He didn't say anything, half dressed and overwhelmed with emotions, as he crossed the distance and embraced the taller blonde.

“Ulfen!” Torden clung to the other Dane. “I thought I'd lost you.”

Ulfen forgot his boyfriend out in the crowd. The dark-haired Dane was the love of his life, separated when career took them to the opposite side of the globe. Ulfen daydreamed of Torden in the years they were apart. He didn't care about the people around as he pulled the older Dane into a kiss that was greedily accepted.

“Never.” Ulfen whispered as he pulled away to stare at the face that haunted him since they were apart. That wasn't going to happen again, no matter what.

For Writer’s Month 2022 Day 2: Dancer

“Alright, show me what you've got.” Ulfen encouraged the younger man to show off some even if he was nervous in a dance studio.

“I...” Mikkel felt odd here in the bright lights and all the mirrors. He'd never realized how much the dark of the bar was a comfort or at least boosted his confidence.

“Pretend it is the bar.” He encouraged the bleach blonde boy, though this was a natural blonde despite appearances. “Do I have to get out some bills and wave them around?”

The teasing got a smile and quiet laugh but more importantly it broke the tension. Ulfen used that to his advantage. “Here, I've never pole danced, so why don't you teach me some of the moves you do?”

The confidence came back as they both headed toward the pole at the middle of the dance studio. His way with new students was what made Ulfen one of the best teachers in New York City for the modern styles of dance. This wasn't his studio but it would due for now.

“The most important thing is how to hold the pole with your legs and using it to maneuver in ways you normally couldn't keep balanced, I guess?” The boy was still uncertain even if he was the expert at pole dancing here. Ulfen was here on his request to try to sharpen up his dancing skills.

“What does that mean?” Ulfen played ignorant because he wanted the boy to dance. “Would music help?”

Mikkel nodded from where he stood touching and looking over the metal pole. His eyes came up in a hurry as Ulfen started the music. He knew what he was doing when he put on some of Blixt's music. The blonde's boyfriend, lover, whatever they might be was the bassist of the band. The blush telltale that this was the right choice.

Ulfen sat down on the floor and watched Mikkel on the pole. He had such long legs and a frame perfect for dancing. Slim, flexible but also muscular. Though Ulfen was happily committed to a partner he could see the attraction people had for the other dancer. His way of moving was naturally seductive. The pace and way he carried his body while working the pole oozed the kind of sex appeal that couldn't be easily learned. The place Ulfen saw the dancer needed help with was fluid transitions from one move to the next. To smooth it out and blend it seamlessly with the rest of his moves.

“I can see why you're a sought after dancer.” Ulfen smiled as he got up from the floor. “You move like all those intimate models on the runway dream of moving.”

Mikkel blushed bright red as he stopped listen. Knowing you were sexy and being complimented on it were two different things.

“I can't make you sexier.” He ruffled the boy's hair. They were near family since Mikkel's older brother was part of his openly committed relationship. “We need to tweak your transitions and how you go down and get up from the ground.”

The boy's head drooped as the criticism tanked his confidence. Ulfen gave him a hug again and smiled. “We'll have that man of yours busting his seams. Walk me through again. We'll sharpen this up and get you into the contests.”

He winked and followed the boys movements around the pole. He took instructions well and this was going to be easy as far as teaching. There was nothing like working with a natural.
